Debbie Howard is a global market strategist on a mission to change the way the world looks at caregiving - and to help businesses mitigate the costs that every company bears related to The Caregiving Crisis.

Her work provides companies with a clear pathway forward to a more caregiver-friendly workplace, while proactively addressing the growing risks with productivity, turnover, and future healthcare costs.

Prior to founding Aging Matters International (AMI) and TheCaregivingJourney.com in 2016, Debbie lived and worked in Japan for 30 years, where she founded and built a market research consultancy; she continues to translate consumer research into clear strategic direction for Fortune 500 global clients and innovative start-ups, primarily in Age-Tech.

During her time in Japan, Debbie also served as President and Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) from 2004~2007, and continues to serve as President Emeritus (2008~present), advocating for regulatory reforms to help international businesses succeed in Japan.

This is personal ... Launching AMI and TheCaregivingJourney.com is a bittersweet "Act II" for Debbie Howard, who served as the live-in caregiver for her mom following her mom's diagnosis with lung cancer back in 2007.

In the wake of her mom's passing, Debbie was inspired to explore new ways of providing information, guidance, and inspiration to both companies and individuals as they navigate the caregiving crisis.
